Application tips
Shampoo first, and only at the scalp. Squeeze a line into the palm, emulsify with a little water, then use fingertips at the roots and let the run-off do the lengths. Rinse hard.
Then squeeze the water out of your hair before the conditioner goes on, because it will not stick to a soaking section. Concentrate it from the ears down, comb through, wait, rinse cool.
Results
Softer out of the wash than it went in, and it stays that way rather than tightening as it dries. Mid-lengths lose the straw feel, colour-treated hair looks less dull, and the comb moves through with far less resistance. Nothing weighs the hair down or leaves a coating, so this can be the weekly routine rather than an occasional rescue.
