Application tips
Match the piece to the weight of hair going into it, then to the style. Scrunchies suit a loose ponytail or a bun that has to come out easily, so keep those for mornings when speed matters. Grips and clips are for anything that has to hold shape: a twisted updo, a half-up section pinned back off the face. Decorative pieces go on last, over a finished style rather than as the thing holding it.
