Application tips
Detail work rewards a light grip. Rest the flat of the Japanese steel T-blade on the skin, guide it with your fingertips, and let the motor do the cutting rather than pressing down. Outlines come out sharpest worked against the grain in short strokes. Between clients, brush the teeth and add a drop of oil across them. Charge it overnight and it stays ready in the drawer rather than tethered to a socket.
Results
Sharpness shows up first in the line quality. Edges hold their shape as the hair grows out over the following week, and freehand hair art stays controlled because the blade tracks where the hand goes. Under load the speed does not sag. The rose gold finish makes no difference to the cut, though it does mean the tool looks deliberate sitting on the station.
