The 454g/16.01 oz tub is the standard size, and the sensible one to start with if you have not used a clay mask before.
What is in it is calcium bentonite clay and nothing else. It arrives as a dry powder and you mix your own paste with water or apple cider vinegar, which means the strength is entirely down to how thick you make it.

Application tips
Half a jar is not the aim. A couple of tablespoons of powder covers a face, and water goes in a little at a time until the paste spreads without dripping.
Apply with fingers or a flat brush, avoiding the eye area, and give it ten minutes at most on dry or reactive skin. As a hair treatment, work it through damp lengths as well as the roots and comb it out before rinsing.
Results
Oiliness drops off noticeably and skin looks clearer and more even by the following morning. The tightening is immediate and passes within minutes of rinsing.
Used on hair, it clears the residue that flattens a curl and leaves the lengths shinier and easier to move through, with more lift at the root. Follow it with conditioner, because a clay wash takes everything with it.
