It goes on and absorbs quickly, without the tacky residue that makes a refresh feel like a fourth product stacked on three others. The formula works on the cuticle, sealing it down so moisture stays in the strand and hair reads smoother rather than fluffy.
4oz is a small bottle by design. It lives in a bag or on a desk, and a couple of passes on the roots and the lengths is enough to get through the day. Use it on dry hair, not damp, and keep the nozzle far enough back that you are misting rather than wetting a patch. Overdoing it is the only way to make a refresher spray look worse than the hair did before.
