Argan oil earned its reputation on damaged hair for a straightforward reason. It is light enough to use on the lengths without leaving them greasy, and it smooths a roughed-up cuticle so the hair reflects light again.
This is the repair-focused blend in Aunt Jackie's oil line, and the 4oz bottle is small because you need very little at a time. It goes on dry or damp hair, mostly through the mid-lengths and ends where colour, heat and friction have done their work.
Three ways to use it:
- Smoothed through damp hair after a leave-in, to seal the moisture in
- Pressed into dry ends mid-week when they start to look dull
- Massaged through the lengths an hour before a wash, as a pre-shampoo treatment
Suits type 2a through 3c hair that is dry, dull or heat-damaged rather than badly broken.
