Argan oil earned its reputation on damaged hair for a straightforward reason. It is light enough to use on the lengths without leaving them greasy, and it smooths a roughed-up cuticle so the hair reflects light again.
This is the repair-focused blend in Aunt Jackie's oil line, and the 4oz bottle is small because you need very little at a time. It goes on dry or damp hair, mostly through the mid-lengths and ends where colour, heat and friction have done their work.
Three ways to use it:
- Smoothed through damp hair after a leave-in, to seal the moisture in
- Pressed into dry ends mid-week when they start to look dull

Application tips
Three or four drops is a full dose for most heads, and it is easier to add a second round than to wash out a first that was too generous.
Warm it between the palms, then press rather than rub, working from the ends up and stopping short of the roots. A drop stirred into a handful of conditioner in the shower stretches it further on very dry lengths.
Results
Dull lengths pick up a soft shine and the surface feels smoother under the fingers rather than slick. Frayed ends look tidier and comb through with less resistance.
Fuzz sits down along the top layer without the hair going flat, and the finish stays light enough that fine textures keep their movement. Colour looks richer for it, which is mostly the shine doing the work.
