This is the ordinary shampoo of the range, and that is meant as a compliment. Not every wash needs a clarifying reset or a co-wash workaround. Most weeks you want something that cleans the scalp properly and leaves the hair soft enough to work with.
Oh So Clean does that. It lathers more than a cream cleanser, so it clears sweat, oil and a week of light styling product, and it softens as it goes instead of leaving the cuticle rough.
Apply at the roots, work it in with the pads of your fingers, and let the rinse handle the lengths. If you have used a lot of gel, wash twice. Follow with conditioner while the hair is still wet and detangle then, not later.
12oz, for type 2a through 3c hair. Fine waves and defined curls both do well on it, which makes it a reasonable buy for a household with more than one hair type in it.
