Expect a cast as it dries. That is the jelly holding the shape, and it breaks out with your fingers or a drop of oil once the hair is completely dry, leaving the definition behind without the crunch.
Waves and looser curls, roughly 2a to 3b, get the most from it. On fine hair use less than feels right and build up on the next wash.
