Frizz is what happens when the cuticle lifts and the hair takes moisture from the air unevenly. Oil does not stop humidity, but it does help the cuticle lie flatter, and a few drops on dry hair often does more than another layer of cream.
Frizz Rebel pairs coconut oil with sweet almond. Coconut goes into the strand and cuts the swelling that lifts the cuticle in the first place. Sweet almond is lighter, stays nearer the surface, and smooths without weight. Together they suit hair that frizzes but goes greasy quickly.
Use it sparingly. Two or three drops warmed in the palms, smoothed over the surface of dry hair or through damp hair before styling. Any more and fine textures separate and hang.
Type 2a through 3c. The 4oz bottle sits in a bag easily, which is where most of it ends up getting used.
