Moisture goes in with water and comes straight back out unless something holds it there. That is the whole job of a sealing butter, and it is the step most people skip before wondering why their hair is dry again by Tuesday.
Seal It Up is thick, closer to a body butter than a cream. It melts between the palms and goes on last, over a damp leave-in, concentrated on the ends where the hair is oldest and driest. The 213 g tub lasts, because you use a fingertip at a time rather than a handful.
Under braids, wigs and weaves it does the same job for the parts you cannot reach easily. Flaxseed oil carries the omega fatty acids that make it worth using, and the butter base is what keeps it in place for days rather than hours.
Best on type 3b through 4c hair, where oil from the scalp rarely makes it all the way down the strand. Used on the ends it reduces the breakage that quietly costs you length.
