Co-washing means cleaning with a conditioner instead of a shampoo. It suits hair that goes dry and tangled every time it meets a lather, and it is the reason plenty of curly routines went from crunchy to soft.
Purify Me is a proper co-wash rather than a conditioner sold as one. It is creamy, sulfate-free, and it carries enough cleansing agents to shift dirt and light product build-up while leaving the hair's own oils where they are. Flaxseed is in there for slip, which is what makes detangling in the shower possible.
Use it as your wash-day cleanser between shampoos. Apply to wet hair, work it into the scalp with your fingertips for a good minute, comb it through the lengths, then rinse.
It will not clear heavy gel or butter build-up on its own, so keep a clarifying shampoo in the cupboard for once a month. 12 oz, suiting type 2a through 3b hair that struggles to get properly clean without going dry.
