Three jobs, one bottle: a daily maintenance oil, a moisture top-up under braids and twists, or a hot oil treatment before a wash. Nourish My Hair is light enough to do all three without building up, which is not true of most oil blends.
Flaxseed oil carries vitamin E and omega fatty acids and stays thin on the hair. Monoi, which is coconut oil infused with tiare flowers, brings the scent and a softer finish. Between them they seal moisture into the strand rather than adding a layer on top, so hair feels smoother without going limp.
Under a protective style, apply along the parts and through the exposed lengths every few days. As a hot oil treatment, stand the 118 ml bottle in a jug of hot water, work the oil through dry hair, cover for twenty minutes and shampoo it out.
Suits type 2a through 3c hair, and scalps that feel dry and tight between washes.
