Fine hair that flattens easily usually loses out on scalp oils, because most of them are heavy enough to weigh the roots down for a day. Grapeseed is the lightest of the common carrier oils, and that is what this elixir leads with, alongside saw palmetto.

Work a few drops along the partings, then massage with the pads of your fingers rather than your nails. On the lengths, a drop rubbed between the palms is plenty. Waves and looser curl patterns will get more from it than dense type 4 hair, which tends to want something richer on the ends.

Application tips
Four drops for a whole head is realistic.
Tip them onto the scalp one parting at a time, then spend a minute massaging so the oil spreads sideways under the hair rather than sitting in a line. Whatever remains on your fingers goes onto the tips. Do it on a dry head in the evening and leave it. It needs no washing out.
Results
Roots stay up. That is the difference between this and a heavier oil, and the reason fine hair can use it at all.
The scalp feels more comfortable and less tight, and the lengths get just enough slip that a comb stops dragging. There is no shine on the parting an hour later, and no need to wash a day early.
