Coco Repair is the deep conditioning treatment in the Aunt Jackie's line, and it is a weekly step rather than a daily one. Coconut is the theme, and the texture is thick enough that a 15oz jar still lasts a while.
Deep conditioners work on contact time. Applied to clean, wet hair and left for ten to twenty minutes, ideally under a cap, this one softens lengths that have gone dry and rough, and gives back enough elasticity that combing stops costing you ends.
Focus it on the lengths and the ends, where the damage actually is, rather than the roots. Rinse thoroughly, then follow with a leave-in while the hair is still damp.
Best used weekly on hair that is dry, over-processed or simply tired, across curly and coily textures.
