Hydration Elation is the deep conditioner in the As I Am range, and it is the step that rescues a wash day rather than maintaining one. Curls, coils and waves that have gone dry, dull and brittle get a concentrated dose of moisture in a single sitting.
It is thick, so use it after shampoo on wet hair and give it time. Ten minutes under a shower cap does more than two minutes in a rush, and with heat it does more again. Hair comes out soft, with more give and noticeably better definition once it dries.
Weekly is enough for most textures. The 8 oz jar goes further than it looks, because on saturated hair the product spreads much more easily than it does on dry. Best for thirsty, breakage-prone type 2 and type 3 hair.

Application tips
Wash first with something clarifying if the hair is coated, otherwise the treatment lands on residue rather than on hair.
Take it in four sections and coat the ends heaviest, since the ends are the oldest and driest part of the length. Comb it through while it sits. Rinse in cool water and skip your usual conditioner afterwards, because this has already done that job.
