As I Am Curl Clarity Shampoo Deep Cleanse for Natural Curls 8 oz
Curls that have stopped behaving are usually not damaged, just coated. Gels, creams, oils and hard water leave a film that builds up over weeks, and the symptom is curls hanging limp and refusing to clump no matter what you put on them.
Curl Clarity is the reset. It cuts through that build-up properly, which a co-wash simply cannot do, but it is formulated for curly and coily hair, so it does not leave the creaking, stripped feeling a general clarifying shampoo does.
Use it when the hair asks for it rather than on a schedule. For most people that lands every three or four weeks, sooner if you use a lot of gel or live somewhere with hard water. Follow it with a deep conditioner, because clarified curls will drink whatever you give them.
Sold in an 8 oz bottle, and aimed across the 2a to 3c range.

Application tips
This is the reset wash, not the weekly one. Once a month suits most people, more often if you use heavy butters or a lot of gel. Wet through, lather at the scalp, and work it in with fingertips rather than nails. Rinse and repeat if the first pass barely foams, then always follow with a deep conditioner, because a clarifying wash leaves the hair bare.
Results
Weight lifts. Hair gone limp and dull under layers of product springs up at the root, and the curl pattern shows again.
Colour looks brighter simply because the film over it has gone. Whatever you apply afterwards actually works, since it is landing on hair rather than residue. Expect a squeakier finish than a co-wash gives, which is what makes the conditioner afterwards non negotiable.
