Curlific! Curl Definer is the styling half of ApHogee's curl range, and the point of it is definition that lasts the day without setting hard.

It reads as most useful on loose waves through to defined curls, roughly 2A to 3C, where the aim is elongation and separation rather than a hard set. Hair in that range tends to lose shape fastest, and a definer that stays soft is easier to refresh on day two than one that has locked everything in place.
Apply to damp hair in sections, distribute evenly, then scrunch or shape and dry however you normally would. The jar holds 8oz.

Application tips
This goes on wet, not damp. Rake it through in sections while the hair is still dripping, then scrunch or finger coil depending on how tight you want the clump.
Air dry or diffuse on low, and leave it alone in between. Touching a drying curl is what puts frizz back in. If you get a cast, scrunch it out with dry hands once the hair is completely dry.
Results
Curls hold their shape without the crunch, which is the trade most definers ask you to make. Bounce stays in the hair rather than setting hard.
Humidity is where it earns the shelf space. Shape survives a damp walk, and strands stay smooth instead of lifting into a halo. Hair feels soft under the hand and moves properly, with the pattern reading clearly from root to tip.
