Application tips
Soak the hair first. Pour about a capful for shorter hair, two for longer, and rub it between wet palms before it lands.
Everything goes on the scalp, and the scalp gets a full minute of fingertip work while the lengths wait. Rinse thoroughly, letting the run off do the cleaning below the ears. Follow with conditioner while you are still in the shower.
Results
It lathers less than a sulphate wash and cleans just as well, which takes some getting used to.
The scalp comes out fresh, with the peppermint reading as a light coolness for a few minutes. Curls keep their shape and their moisture, so detangling afterwards is quicker. Hair dries soft rather than squeaky, and the week's buildup is gone.
