Apply along the parts and rows, then smooth whatever is left over the braids themselves. Little and often works better than a heavy application once a week.

Application tips
Aim the nozzle at the partings rather than at the braids themselves, working row by row from the front to the nape.
A short squeeze per row is enough. Rub it in with the pads of two fingers, then run damp hands over the length to smooth anything that lifted.
Every other day on a fresh style, daily once the style is a few weeks old.
