Application tips
Less than the bottle suggests. A generous helping on a child's head is usually too much, and the hair ends up limp by the afternoon.
Smooth it over wet hair in four sections, then twist each one and clip it while you do the next. Undo them once the hair is nearly dry. Do not rinse. On braids, keep it to the lengths.
Results
Tangles stop forming in the first place, which is a different job from getting them out. Hair stays combable from one wash to the next.
The curl pattern stretches slightly, so styles sit where you put them, and the ends stay soft enough that a bobble comes out without a fight. Shine holds up through the week and the hair keeps some bounce rather than going flat.
