Week three in braids is when the scalp starts asking for a wash and the style says no. Washing braids properly undoes the neatness. Not washing them is worse.
This is the middle option. A cleansing rinse with a nozzle, so you can get down the part lines to the scalp itself without soaking and frizzing the braids. It cleans the scalp, the edges and the hair underneath, and because the formula conditions as it goes, nothing is left rough or squeaking behind it.
The method matters more than the product here. Lift the braid or the weft to expose the parting, run the nozzle along the part line, massage it in with fingertips and rinse with water. If you want even less disturbance, put the rinse on a cloth and work along the parting that way. Follow with a sealing oil or a braid sheen spray.

Application tips
Do it in the shower with the water off, so you can see what you are doing. Work down one parting at a time rather than dragging the nozzle across the head, which pushes braids out of shape. Warm water only on the rinse. Squeeze the braids in a towel afterwards instead of rubbing, and let them dry through before you sleep on them.
Results
Two weeks of sweat, oil and product comes off the scalp without the braids frizzing or loosening. The install looks tighter afterwards, mostly because the fuzz is no longer carrying dust.
