Positive Link is the conditioner Avlon built for the days around a relaxer. Chemical processing leaves the hair shaft weakened and the cuticle raised, and the window straight afterwards is when hair is most likely to snap.

This is a strengthening conditioner rather than a moisturising one. It works on the structure, improving elasticity so strands bend instead of breaking, and smooths the cuticle down so a comb runs through without catching.

  • Strengthens processed hair and improves elasticity
  • Smooths the cuticle for easier, safer detangling
  • Restores moisture to dry, relaxed lengths
  • 455g tub, sized for salon-style use at home

Use it as the conditioning step after a relaxer or a colour service, and keep using it between services rather than only when something has gone wrong. Best for relaxed and colour-treated hair that has started to feel brittle.

Application tips

Towel dry first, then take a golf ball sized scoop for shoulder length hair and spread it through in four sections, roots included on a strengthening product. Ten minutes, no heat needed. Comb it through once halfway to even it out, then rinse thoroughly. Alternate it with a moisturising conditioner rather than using it every single wash.

Results

Processed hair firms up. The slack, stretchy feel that follows a relaxer or a bleach tightens back toward normal within a wash or two, and lengths handle being brushed.

The surface goes smooth, so hair reflects light instead of looking dusty. It leaves a firmer finish than a moisture conditioner gives, which is what you want on hair that has gone soft from processing.

Composition

The full INCI is printed on the pack. We publish it here as soon as the brand supplies it, and we will read it off the bottle for you if you ask.
