It has a proper deep-conditioning texture rather than a light rinse. Applied after shampoo it soaks in for a few minutes, softens the lengths and gives enough slip that detangling stops being a fight. Hair comes out easier to style and less prone to snapping at the ends.

Application tips
Squeeze the excess water out first, or you are diluting it before it starts. Rake it through with the fingers from the ends up, section by section, until every strand feels coated. Five minutes is the minimum, ten with a cap on if the hair has had heat or colour recently. Rinse in cool water, and leave a trace of it in on very dry ends.
Results
Lengths come out plump and soft, with the sort of slip that makes a wide tooth comb redundant because fingers already work.
The change lasts past the shower. Hair dries with less frizz on the surface, holds a style rather than fluffing out of it, and the ends stop catching on clothes. Relaxed lengths in particular stop feeling like they are running on empty.
