Activilong Paris Hot Oils Hair Care – Deep Nourishing & Repairing Treatment for Dry, Damaged Hair
A hot oil treatment is a pre-shampoo step, and the order is what makes it work. Oil goes on dry hair before washing, sits for a while, and the shampoo then removes the excess rather than stripping bare hair. You end up cleaning hair that has already been softened.
Activilong Paris blend natural oils for this, and warm application is part of the design. Heat thins the oil enough to travel into a section rather than coating the outside of it, which is why the treatment is called hot rather than simply described as an oil.
It is aimed at hair worn down by heat styling, weather and chemical processing. Brittleness, frayed-looking ends and lengths that feel rough are the signals to use it.
Apply through dry hair in sections, concentrating on mid-lengths and ends, leave it as long as your evening allows, then shampoo and condition as normal. Once a week while hair is in bad shape, once a month as maintenance.
Suits wavy through type 4a, and anyone whose hair feels worse after every blow-dry.

Application tips
Warm the bottle in a mug of hot water rather than a microwave, and test a drop on the inside of the wrist before it goes near the scalp.
It should feel warm, never hot.
Clip the hair up in four, work from the ends back toward the roots, then cover with a cap and a towel to hold the heat in while it sits.
Results
Rough lengths come back softer and the ends stop catching on each other when you comb. Hair that had gone dull picks up shine, and the surface feels smooth rather than raised.
The real benefit shows on wash day itself. Hair that has been oiled first does not come out of the shampoo feeling stripped, and it takes far less pulling to get a comb through afterwards.
