A deep conditioner is a wash day product with a timer on it. This one is a mask you apply after shampooing and leave to sit, and the black castor oil in it does the heavy conditioning while the base holds it against the hair.
It is aimed at dry, brittle and damaged hair, the sort that has lost its elasticity and snaps rather than stretches. After rinsing, the lengths feel softer, comb through with less resistance, and hold a bit more spring. Type 3b through 4c textures will notice it most, because those patterns dry out fastest along the strand.
Work it through clean, damp hair from the mid-lengths down, leave it on while you finish the rest of your routine, then rinse thoroughly. Weekly is a sensible rhythm, or straight after a stretch of heat styling. 200ml/6.76 oz.

Application tips
Best applied in the shower with the water off, so the heat is still in the room but nothing is rinsing away. Four sections, a generous coat on each, then twist the section up out of the way and move to the next. Fifteen to twenty minutes with a cap on. Rinse with the head tipped forward and stop while the hair still feels slick. Do not shampoo afterwards.
Results
Brittle lengths come back with some give in them.
Where the hair used to surrender under a comb it now stretches and returns, which shows up as less breakage in the sink and more length staying on your head. The comb moves freely afterwards. Coily textures notice it most at the ends, and the softness holds through to the next wash.
