It is the finger lime, an Australian citrus with pearl-like flesh, and it brings antioxidants and vitamins to a formula whose main job is keeping colour where the colourist put it.
Color Brilliance works by wrapping the strand. A coated cuticle holds pigment in and keeps the outside world, meaning sun, hard water and pollution, from pulling it back out. That coating is also why coloured hair treated with it stays glossy rather than going chalky as the weeks pass.

Application tips
Work it through hair you have shampooed and squeezed out, concentrating on the lengths and ends where colour fades first.
Give it a couple of minutes while you finish the rest of your shower instead of rinsing straight back out. Finish on cool water. If you have highlights or balayage, put the bulk of it on the lightened pieces, which are always the first to go dull.
