Work it through damp hair in sections after washing, then scrunch or style as usual. On day two or three, dampen your hands and reapply to whichever section has gone flat. Application tips
Layering order matters. This goes on first, before any gel or cream, straight onto hair that is still dripping.
Distribute it with your fingers and a wide-tooth comb so nothing is missed, then add your styler over the top. On its own it is enough for looser waves. Tighter patterns usually want something with more hold on top of it. Do not rinse.
Results
A leave-in has to do two jobs at once, moisture and shape, and most lean too far one way. This one lands between them.
Curls dry defined without a shell, the hair still moves when you shake it, and there is no waxy residue building up by the third day. Combing through is noticeably easier, and less hair comes away with it. Wavy hair can wear it alone.
