This 8 oz leave-in exists to solve the access problem. It is thin enough to get down to the scalp and along a braided length without needing to be worked in, and it stays on the hair rather than needing to be rinsed, which is the only practical option when your hair is in cornrows. Moisture goes in, gets sealed, and the strand keeps enough flex to survive the take-down.
Apply along the braid, twist or loc a couple of times a week rather than daily, and use less than you would on loose hair. It suits braids, twists, locs, weaves and cornrows, and it is equally useful on the wash day after a style comes out, when hair is at its most fragile and needs slip more than anything else.
