Application tips
Damp hair, four sections, and a decent amount in each. Spread thin, a softener has nowhere near enough slip to detangle, and detangling is the job.
Rake it through with the fingers first to find the knots, then follow with a wide-tooth comb, working ends upwards. Leave it in. Twist or braid each section as you finish and let the hair dry that way if you want the definition to hold.
