The base is coconut oil, with argan added, and the pairing is aimed at hair that reads dry and damaged. Argan is lighter than coconut and smooths the cuticle, so the blend leaves hair feeling smoother and easier to manage without the tackiness a straight coconut oil can leave. What it does is cosmetic: it improves how the hair feels and looks rather than changing its structure.
The useful thing about this format is that it works at either end of a wash. Before shampooing it soaks in as a proper oiling treatment; after washing, a small amount through the lengths acts as a light finishing oil. Application tips
Warm the bottle in your hands for a moment first. The coconut base thickens in a cold room, and thickened oil sits on the surface instead of spreading.
As a pre-wash treatment, take enough to cover scalp and lengths, massage for a few minutes and allow half an hour before shampooing. As a finishing pass, one or two drops rubbed between the fingertips and pressed onto the ends is the entire dose.
Results
Roughened lengths take on a smoother surface, so the hair looks less dull and behaves under a brush.
Argan keeps the blend lighter than plain coconut oil, which shows up as hair that feels conditioned instead of loaded. Tangles loosen. Ends that had gone wiry fall back in line with the rest, and the finish reads soft to the touch rather than slick.
