Colouring works by lifting the cuticle so pigment can get in.
The trouble is that the cuticle does not simply close again afterwards, so the same door the colour went through is the one it leaves by, a little at a time, every wash. Osmo Colour Save is built around closing it. The formula conditions in the usual way and puts a protective layer over the cuticle so pigment stays where it was put. That applies across the range, from bleached blonde through to reds and deep brunettes, and it works on highlights as well as all-over colour.
The 400ml bottle is the salon size and it is meant for regular use rather than the occasional treatment. Every wash is where the benefit accumulates. Pair it with the matching shampoo if you want the colour to hold to the next appointment rather than most of the way there.
