Application tips
Wring the water out and apply from about ear level down, heaviest at the last few inches. The roots do not need it and it flattens them if they get it.
Comb it through with something wide-toothed, then clip the hair up and leave it while you finish washing. Rinse cool if you can be bothered. Once a week is plenty for most people, more often if you heat style.
Results
Comb-through improves first. Hair that had been catching and snapping halfway down starts to slide instead, and the short pieces in the sink thin out over a few weeks.
