Application tips
Wring the hair out properly first, because a mask spread over soaking hair is mostly water. Two or three fingers' worth per section on thick hair, less as you move towards the crown.
Pile it up, cap it, and give it ten minutes rather than three if you have them. Once a week on dense hair is right, and fortnightly is plenty if yours is medium.
Results
Thick, dry hair comes out with a completely different weight to it, soft and heavy rather than coarse and separate.
Stretch comes back into the strand, so brushing does not end in snapped ends. The shine is noticeable in daylight. Styling afterwards takes less effort, because properly conditioned hair holds a blow dry or an air dry without fighting you.
