Both are proteins, and colour, relaxers and heat tools take protein out of the shaft, which is what leaves hair limp, rough and quick to snap. Putting it back reinforces the strand so it holds a style and takes a comb again. Ginseng conditions the scalp alongside it, and the finish is smooth and glossy rather than heavy. Use it once or twice a week after shampooing, on hair you have squeezed the water out of, and leave it long enough to work. 500ml is the size to start with if you have not used the range before.

Application tips
Keep it out of the roots. Protein at the scalp does nothing useful and weighs the top down, so start an inch or two below and work outward to the ends.
A wide tooth comb pulled through the product distributes it far better than fingers alone. Cover with a cap if you have one. Rinse until the water runs completely clear, then finish with cool water for the shine.
Results
Hair takes handling again. It combs, it holds a twist-out or a blow-dry, and it stops fraying at the ends between trims.
The finish is smooth and reflective rather than coated, so curls still separate properly. Damaged sections catch up with the rest of the head over three or four uses. Anyone new to protein should start fortnightly and increase only if the hair responds well.
