Mielle Rice Water & Aloe Vera Braid Set Foam 7.5oz
Fresh braids look neat for about a day, then the loose hairs start showing and the whole set goes fuzzy. A setting foam is what stops that happening, and this one is built for it.
You use it after the braids are finished, not during. The foam smooths flyaways down, blends braiding hair into your own so the join stops being obvious, and holds the set so it stays neat for longer. It works with synthetic or human braiding hair, and it does the same job for twists and locs. There is no alcohol in it, so it dries fast without flaking.
Apply a generous amount over the finished braids and smooth it over gently, then dry with a diffuser or hood dryer for three to five minutes. If the braids start at the scalp, cover the front with a wrap styling strip before drying and take the strip off afterwards. 7.5oz.
Be generous with it. A thin coat over a full head of braids will smooth the top layer and leave the underneath fuzzy, and with no alcohol in the formula there is no penalty for using more.
