The odd instruction on the pack is worth following. Mielle call it Cold Application Technology, and the advice is to keep the bottle in the fridge and apply it cold. Refrigeration is recommended rather than required, so it still works at room temperature.
Ingredients are short and readable: sweet almond oil, castor oil, avocado oil, tamanu seed oil, and hemisqualane, the plant-derived stand-in for silicone that does most of the smoothing. Avocado oil and hemisqualane handle frizz, castor oil brings the shine, tamanu conditions the scalp. No silicones, parabens, sulfates, paraffins, mineral oil or DEA.

Shake before use, then work a dime-sized amount from root to end and comb it through, adjusting for your length and density.
