Maui Moisture Strength & Length + Agave Conditioner Detangling Care for Chemically Treated Hair 385 ml/13.1 oz
Chemically processed hair breaks at the point where you are least gentle with it, which is usually the detangle. This conditioner is aimed at that moment. It smooths the outer surface first so your fingers have something to slide along.
Aloe barbadensis leaf juice leads the ingredient list, with coconut water, agave ferment, hibiscus seed oil, pineapple extract, coconut oil and panthenol behind it. Cetearyl alcohol and behentrimonium build the conditioning structure, and the formula is fragranced.

Apply to wet hair after shampooing, work it through the lengths and ends, and give it a few moments before you touch it. Detangle with your fingers, then rinse thoroughly. Suits relaxed, coloured or heat-worn hair, in a 385ml bottle.

Application tips
Work in four sections rather than treating the head as one. Fragile hair tangles across section lines and pulling those apart later costs you strands.
Coat each section from the bottom up, twist it loosely and clip it. By the time the fourth is done the first has had long enough. Take them down in the same order and rinse cool. No comb until the conditioner is in.
Results
The immediate change is slip. Strands stop gripping each other, so a knot loosens instead of tightening when you pull at it.
Over a run of washes there is less hair in the plughole and the ends stay blunter for longer, which is how chemically treated hair keeps its length. Panthenol and the aloe base leave a soft finish with shine rather than a coating.
