Curl Quench is the thick one. Maui Moisture built it as a creamy rinse-out for hair with real density to it, coily or curly or heavily waved, and it is generous enough that you can use a proper amount without the bottle vanishing in a fortnight.
Coconut oil carries the conditioning. On thick hair the useful part is the detangling, meaning enough slip to get through a section with your fingers before a comb goes anywhere near it, which is where most of the breakage on wash day comes from.

Application tips
Sections first. Four is the minimum on dense hair, six is better, and clip each one out of the way as you finish it.
Rake a generous amount through each section while the hair is soaking wet, then squish it upward in your palms to push moisture in. Leave it while you wash your face. Rinse partially rather than completely if your hair is very dry.
Results
The change you feel is slip. Fingers move through a section that would have caught a comb ten minutes earlier.
Once dried, curls sit in clearer clumps and the halo of loose frizz settles down. Coconut oil gives it enough richness for coily and dense hair without leaving a film. Hair feels heavier in a good way, with more weight and swing to it.
