Application tips
Wring the hair out after shampooing. Conditioner applied to sopping hair mostly runs down the drain.
Smooth it from the ears down, concentrating on the ends and skipping the roots unless they feel dry. Leave it two or three minutes while you finish washing, comb through with a wide tooth, then rinse in cool water for the sake of the shine.
Results
Knots give way under the comb and do not need picking apart, which is where most day-to-day damage happens. Hair dries softer and lies smoother, with the kind of shine that comes off a flat cuticle, not a coating.
The roots keep their lift. On coarse or coily textures the difference shows most in how quiet the comb goes.
