Ma Brown's Styling Foam holds flexibly, so the volume it creates stays soft and moves rather than setting in place. It does not go crunchy, sticky or flaky as it dries down, and it keeps frizz and flyaways under control through the day. Worked into damp roots and blow-dried, it lifts. Scrunched into damp lengths, it defines whatever wave is already there.

Application tips
Shake hard, then dispense a ball roughly the size of a satsuma into your palm. On soaking hair, rake it through in sections and scrunch upward. For height, lift the damp roots and work it in at the base instead.
Diffuse on low or leave it to the air. Two small applications beat one enormous handful.
Results
Body arrives at the root, where flat hair gives itself away, and the length keeps its bounce and does not drop by mid-afternoon. Nothing crunches under the hand.
Frizz stays down in damp weather and the hair feels soft, not coated, a trade most foams get wrong. Shapes hold overnight with a bonnet on.
