Silver is the purple conditioner in the Serie Expert range, and it runs cooler than most. The pigment blend is violet and blue rather than violet alone, which is what lets it handle orange as well as yellow.
That matters on grey, silver and very light blonde hair, where warmth shows up as an orange cast rather than a straw one. Underneath the toning it is a proper conditioner, with ceramides and babassu oil in the 200ml bottle, so hair gets hydration and shine out of it rather than colour correction alone.
