Application tips
Wring the water out properly first, then apply from the ears down. The bottom third takes the most wear, so that is where the bulk of it belongs.
Comb it through with a wide-tooth comb while it is on, which is the least damaging detangle you will get all week. Two minutes, then rinse cool. If the ends are badly frayed, leave a trace in rather than rinsing it out completely.
Results
The comb stops catching. That is the whole mechanism, because most length is lost at the brush rather than at the scissors.
