Application tips
Shampoo, squeeze out the excess water, then work this through in sections from the ears down. Colour sits mostly in the older hair, so the ends want more of it than the roots do.
Leave it on while you finish washing, comb through with something wide toothed, then rinse under cooler water than feels natural. Cool water closes the cuticle faster than warm.
Results
The rinse feels slippery instead of squeaky, and the hair dries with the tone still sitting where the colourist put it.
Brassiness creeps in more slowly, ends look less faded against the roots, and the whole length feels padded out again. Porous hair shows the most obvious change, having the most ground to make up.
