Jojoba is close in structure to the skin's own sebum, which is why it absorbs so quickly and why it rarely feels greasy on either hair or skin. It carries vitamins E and B along with zinc and copper. On hair it moisturises the scalp and lengths and helps keep breakage down. On skin it hydrates without clogging pores, which makes it workable on sensitive skin as well as dry. One bottle covers face, body, scalp and ends, which is unusual value for an oil this size.

Application tips
Three or four drops is a full head on most people, warmed in the palms and pressed through the mid-lengths and ends. Any more and it sits on top.
For the scalp, part in rows and put a drop on the skin itself rather than on the hair, then massage for a minute per section. On the face it goes on damp, last, over anything water-based. Keep it away from the eyes.
Results
It sinks in fast. Within a couple of minutes there is nothing slick left on the surface, which is the reason people who dislike oils get on with this one.
Hair looks softer and behaves better through a comb, with fewer strands giving way at the mid-shaft. Skin feels supple rather than coated, and pores stay clear, so it works on faces that react badly to heavier oils.
