Rice oil serum is for hair that has been through something. Heat, colour, relaxer, or simply years of styling.
Fantasia IC formulate it as a serum, so it goes on thin, absorbs fast and leaves shine rather than slick. Rice oil carries amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants, and the job here is to reinforce the strand so it holds up better under the brush and the dryer. Alongside that the serum smooths flyaways and controls frizz, which makes it as useful for finishing a style as for treating one. That double duty is the reason it tends to stay out on the shelf rather than going back in the cupboard.

Application tips
Warm it between the palms first, then press it into the ends and work upward, stopping well short of the roots. On damp hair it goes in before you blow dry and gives the brush something to glide on. On dry hair it is a finisher, patted over the surface to settle whatever is sticking up. Less than you think, always. You can add a second round; you cannot take it back out.
Results
Ends that were reading dry and split look smoother within seconds, and the gloss is clean rather than wet. Flyaways settle, frizz stops lifting off the top of the head, and the finish survives humidity better than a cream does.
Over weeks of use the strand takes brushing and heat with less snapping, so the lengths hold together instead of thinning out at the bottom.
