Kukui nut oil comes from Hawaii and it is one of the lighter conditioning oils, which is why it pairs well with coconut here rather than being drowned by it. Kukui adds shine and moisture, coconut penetrates and softens.

Dosing matters with this one. A dime-sized amount for short hair, a nickel for medium, a quarter for long, emulsified in the palms before it touches the hair. On wet hair, apply after conditioning and comb through without rinsing, then style. On dry hair, use the same amount and smooth it over.

Application tips
Emulsify it in warm palms first. A leave-in tipped straight onto the head lands in one spot and never spreads properly from there.
Press it into towel-blotted hair, ends first, then work upwards and finish at the roots with whatever is left. Comb through with something wide-toothed, then set, style or dry. Between washes, the same treatment on dry hair brings dull lengths back.
Results
