Honey crème describes the texture as much as the scent: thick, faintly sweet, and it spreads further than the bottle suggests. Hair dries soft and manageable instead of stiff.
Most useful if you wash often, or if detangling is the step you dread. Work it through in sections, rinse, and go straight into your conditioner while everything is still slippery. Daily use is a rare thing to see recommended on a shampoo, and it only holds up because the cleansing agents are this mild. Application tips
Apply straight to a wet scalp and expect lather quickly, which is unusual in a sulphate-free wash. Massage in parts with the fingertips, then pull the lather down through the lengths.
Finger-detangle while it is still on, working from the ends upwards. Rinse thoroughly. Gentle enough to use every day if your routine calls for it, and it will not need a second pass.
Results
Unusually soft for a shampoo, and properly clean with it. The cuticle is smoothed rather than roughed up, which is what makes the comb behave afterwards.
Moisture stays in the hair instead of leaving with the dirt, so the conditioner that follows has less work to do. Tangles loosen during the wash itself, which takes a decent chunk out of wash day.
