Herbal Complex 4 is the Design Essentials scalp treatment, a 5oz bottle carrying four herbal complexes in nourishing oils.
Peppermint oil gives it the cool, tingling note and leaves the scalp feeling awake and clean. Nettle extract carries vitamins and minerals that condition the skin at the roots. Horsetail is high in silica, which is why it turns up in products aimed at strengthening the hair shaft. Application tips
Part the hair into rows and apply along the scalp itself, a line at a time, then work it in with the pads of the fingers. A few minutes of proper massage does more than a bigger dose.
Two or three times a week suits most people, and it can go on between washes without needing a rinse. Concentrate on the areas that feel tightest rather than covering the whole head evenly.
