Where a sheen spray adds gloss, a finishing spritz adds hold, and this is the light end of hold. Formations sets a style without the crunch a strong spritz leaves behind, so a twist-out still moves and you can still put your fingers through it.
PVP/VA copolymer is the polymer doing the setting. It is flexible rather than rigid, which is why the finish stays touchable and resists humidity through the day instead of shattering at the first bit of damp. Alongside it, panthenol adds body, glycerin pulls moisture in, and aloe conditions.
Use it as the last step on wet or dry hair. On a wash-and-go it holds the clumps as they dry. On a finished twist-out or braid-out it keeps the definition from softening by lunchtime. It works from Type 2 waves through to 4C coils.

Application tips
On a wash-and-go, spray it over the hair while the styler is still wet, then leave it entirely alone to dry. On a finished set, mist lightly over the top once the hair is down and separated.
Keep the bottle back from the head and build up in passes. Over-spraying is what turns a light hold into a sticky one. No combing afterwards.
Results
Definition survives the day. Clumps that would normally soften and blur by lunchtime hold their edges, and a twist-out keeps looking like a twist-out into the evening.
The hold is genuinely light. No stiffness, no stickiness, no shell to break. Fingers go through it without wrecking the shape, and damp weather takes much longer to undo the work.
