Design Essentials built this 4oz oil for that strip specifically. The blend is castor and argan for the conditioning, peppermint for the cooling, plus rosemary extract, biotin and vitamin E. It is light enough not to leave the hairline greasy, which matters when it is the most visible part of your head.
The job is protection rather than repair. Well-conditioned hair at the temples is flexible hair, and flexible hair survives tension styling. Hair that snaps at the hairline does not come back quickly, so the useful move is keeping what is there intact.

Application tips
Night-time is the sensible slot for this, on a clean hairline with no gel on it. Run the dropper along the temples and the front hairline, then massage in small circles with a fingertip until it disappears.
Tie a satin scarf over the top. On days when edges are laid, apply before the gel rather than after, and give the hairline a rest from styling now and then.
Results
The hairline feels soft and cool rather than dry and tight, and the fine hair there stops snapping when a brush goes over it.
